When we vacationed at WDW (we are FL residents now), we used the "Grand Plan" dining plan -- similar to Deluxe Dining plan. Carl and I enjoyed sampling all the WDW restaurants, but the children/grand-children were more into the parks and would join us just for dinners. Fortunately, they were not on the Grand Plan (in separate rooms) and so we did not "waste" our food $$. Today, we use the Tables in Wonderland card or AP discount as Fl residents.
